The Woodland Arboretum Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non profit foundation dedicated to preservation, restoration and education and to raising grants and donations to pay for these activities. As a non profit organization it is able to accept tax deductible donations, bequests and planned gifts of any amount.
The Foundation offers choices to you for making tax deductible contributions. For example, your donation can be directed to support the ongoing projects of the Woodland Foundation itself, or be dedicated for use within the Woodland Flower Fund or on a more personal note, In Memory Of A Loved One. Certainly, we would encourage donors currently to earmark their donation to “Hurricane Ike Damage Recovery” if you would like to help in that regard.
In the absence of specific instructions, the Foundation will direct the funds to be used for projects such as the preservation of Woodland historical buildings and monuments, horticultural beautification, educational programs and/or book publication costs. Be assured that these donations are not used for general operating expenses or projects. Instead they are reserved for such “good works” as the Foundation may decide.
Your donation is vital to the preservation of Woodland and will strengthen the Woodland Foundation for years to come.
Again your contribution is tax deductible and you will receive a written acknowledgement of your donation from The Woodland Foundation.
