Debra Mescher, Customer Service & Records Manager
Debra studied Business Management at Southern Illinois University and recently graduated from ICCFA University of Memphis. She is a Certified Celebrant and also certified in Cremation. Her previous employment has given her over 20 years experience in Customer Service Management, Office Management and Event/Tradeshow Management.
Paul Auer, Accounting Manager
Prior to coming to Woodland, Paul held previous Public Accounting/Auditing positions at Dohner, Louis & Stephens CPA, Inc. and prior to that, he practiced accounting at ITW Hobart Brothers Company.
Rufus Slade, Property Manager
Rufus joined the Woodland staff in 1984 and currently holds the position of Property Manager. Mr. Slade is a certified Crematory Operator and a 2010 graduate of International Cemetery, Cremation, and Funeral Association University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Cemetery Association.
Lynn Robertson, Memorial Designer & Administration
Lynn was born and raised in Dayton and is a proud graduate of the University of Dayton. She has 10+ years of Customer Service Experience and has worked at Woodland Cemetery since 2008. She loves to use her creativity and perfectionism to design and create. Her true passion lies in helping others and making people smile. Because of this, she takes great pride in ensuring families create a memorable, everlasting tribute to one's life for generations to come.
Angie Hoschouer, PMP is the Manager of Development and Marketing
Angie comes to Woodland with a history of managing multiple fundraising projects in the non-profit sector and coordinating many of Dayton's largest attended special events and programs. She is a founding member of the Randolph Twp. Historical Society, a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society with status as a First Family of Ohio, First Family of Greene County and a member of the Society of Civil War Families of Ohio.
Woodland Family Service Representatives
Anita was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She has two children, Doug and Sara and four grandchildren; Brooke, Jared, Carlin and Cooper, whom she loves more than life itself! Anita knows customer service - her and her family have been in the restaurant business for 30 years. Anita has taken great pride in servicing Woodland families; she is dedicated to caring for families with compassion and comfort whether they are experiencing the loss of a loved one or if they are pre-planning for the future in order to eliminate the financial and emotional burden on family members.
Mike is a talented individual with over 40 years experience in a plethora of service oriented careers. The greatest quality he brings to Woodland is his ability to empathize with families at their most vulnerable time. Mike's focus is to assist them in their time of need and help them to transition through their time of grief. We are proud to have Mike as a member of our Woodland family and we are confident he will serve you well.
Angela earned a business degree from Ohio's Miami University in Oxford and brings with her over 15 years of customer service management, working in both the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Angela is dedicated to providing services to the families of Dayton's communities with care and compassion. She understands that the challenges of life can be overwhelming and is committed to helping relieve these, allowing for the celebration of life.
JoAnna studied at John Carroll University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a concentration in East Asian History. She has over 10 years of Customer Service experience working in the health care industry. She is married with two dogs and a cat. Aside from providing excellence service to her families at Woodland Cemetery, she is an avid reader and enjoys gardening, roller skating, theater acting, traveling and antique shopping.
